Carpool Arrangements?

I was thinking if it were possible to arrange carpools for events... XD;

Not all of us have cars, and I know it's possible to just take the bus and all (in theory, though), but I find the HRT to be unreliable, pricey, and not really convenient (they don't cover every street).

Plus, I'm very self-conscious in cosplay publicly--whether I'm going all the way or merely having a single article. OTL;

I completely understand your concerns, and this sounds like a pretty good idea. Though, it might be better if we planned these arrangements on a meet-to-meet basis.

Anyone who is mobile and available to usually help with rides, please let us know.

I can offer help with rides if anyone is in the Norfolk area or if they live closer to wherever the destination is. I drove someone home from an event in Virginia Beach once to Chesapeake and it wound up being a little father than I care to drive. >A>;

I'm just asking because I always have to mark events as "maybe" unless I know some sort of reliable transportation is set. lol _{And it'd be upsetting to miss out on just that factor... OTL}

Not sure what part of Norfolk you live in, but I'm in Town Center--literally behind Pembroke Mall--if that gives you some perspective. XD;

That all sounds nice. I can't drive either, and to whom ever is unfortunate enough to get suck in a car with me, i warn you now!...I love sing alongs = u = So if anyone lives more in the hilltop area that's where im located, once i fix up the moped i wont need help as much and maybe able to give lifts just not far ones.

I used to sing a lot during drives when I had a car. XD Not sure if I would if other people are with me (I usually don't sing with others around). o3o But I don't mind it when people sing... lol

I can drive, but I'll need to follow someone if we end up going somewhere far away like the Virginia Zoo, unfortunatly, my GPS was stolen and mapquest sucks, so if anyone knows the location to it, I'll gladly follow them. ^_^

I think the zoo is in Cedar Groove, but I don't really recall exactly... I only remember seeing it while riding with my roommates and that's what they claimed. OTL;;;

And..... Mind if I hitch a ride with you for that event if it's not too much out of the way? ;w;

Well, since it's a casual cosplay event, personally I can be picked up either at the Central Library, Town Center (around the Bravo Courtyard/fountain), or Pembroke Mall. XD

Glad to see things are getting worked out. And the zoo is on Granby St. You can probably get exact directions on the website.

By the way, I live near Route 564 in Norfolk, so if anyone lives around there and needs a ride for any of the meetings, let me know.
